Hair: 15 Monts Post Relaxer

I am fifteen months into my natural hair transition.  A few weeks back, I did have some of my ends clipped.  The relaxer is gone on some sections of my head.  However, there is relaxer on other parts of my hair so I am still claiming to be transitioning at this time.  Before I started this journey, my hair was uneven all over.  A few months ago, I was itching to big chop but I was able to calm down and be patient.  I wanted a long term transition so far I'm sticking with it.  However, I would not be disappointed if it ended now.  It's just that I want to drag this out because I would rather have some length to my natural hair when I cut it.

As usual, I took some pictures of my hair when I was detangling it with conditioner.  Here they are:

Lately, I have been styling my hair by doing a wash and go.  The top portion of my hair still has relaxed ends.  To hide that, I section a chunk of hair in the front and make a bump.  I don't tease it or anything.  I get enough volume because my hair is really thick in it's natural state.  I get a bobby pin and secure the bump.  Then, I will get a brush and brush and gel the sides down and pin those hairs behind the bump.  I leave the back of my hair out.  I like this style because it's easy for me to do.  I think it will look cuter as my hair grows.

Yours truly,

Coily
