About

Welcome to Colors and Coils, a lifestyle blog where beauty and creativity meet! This blog is like a journal of style.  Here you will find discussion about natural hair, make-up, fashion, nails, beauty & heath, organization, home & food, and more! Basically, this blog is an explosion of femininity.

These biblical scriptures are the theme of this blog:

Psalms 139:14 - I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thou works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

Accepting that you are beautiful is a wonderful thing.  You are the only person in the world who looks like you (even identical twins can have their slight differences).  Therefore, you should enjoy the rare beauty you possess.  Embracing how wonderful you are is the key to exuding confidence and shutting down the lies from the enemy that you are not of value.  You are not a mistake.

1 Corinthians 11:15 - But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.

Writing this blog allows me to keep track of my hair goals.  I once had ear length hair and I am striving to reach arm pit length.  I am almost there.  Once I reach full arm pit length, it is my goal to not let my hair get shorter than that ever again because I simply love long hair.  I'm not sure how I would feel about hair longer than that but I am willing to give full back length hair a chance before cutting it.

Titus 2:3-5 - The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

It is helpful to learn from others to make your life more effective.  Therefore, I will intend on sharing things that keep me organized to help others at keeping their homes.
