Hair: 17th & 18th Post Relaxer Photos

I am eighteen months post relaxer and still going strong on my natural hair transition...well...sort of.  Let me explain the story.  See, what had happened was...one day I was doing my hair and the style did not look neat.  It was irritating me that some of my relaxed ends was making the style I was doing look unpolished.  So I got some scissors and clipped away.  It was like an inch of hair in some areas.

I know what you might be thinking.  Why didn't you just cut all of your relaxed ends off so you can be a 100% natural for once and for all? As of right now, I still want the length.  So, some parts of my hair has relaxed ends and some don't.  When I achieve a length I can be happy with, I will put on my brave face and snip off the rest.  Majority of the relaxed ends are in the front of my head.  I think my hair is growing and retaining length at a nice rate right now so I might see myself chopping it all off this year.  Plus, I feel like I'm already a natural so I don't think my "big chop" will be as a big deal compared to someone who cut majority of their hair off their head.

Enough with the rambling...here are some pictures from months seventeen and eighteen.
