I really wanted to have a crossbody bag for the summer. Crossbodies are great because you can carry everything you need hands free. That comes in handy when attending events like festivals, especially if you are attending something like a taste fest where a lot of food trucks are around. Eventually, I would like to get a smaller bag like a wallet on a chain. However, lately my eye has been on the Gucci Soho Leather Disco Bag. I love the rich red color and the tassel detailing gives what would be just a simple bag a pop of life. However, that $980 price tag is making me cringe!
Just when I was about to throw in the towel, I discovered that Henri Bendel has a comparable bag for just $198! It is called the West 57th Crossbody and I believe it is just as cute. Sure, it does not have a tassel, however the West 57th Crossbody has it's own flair with it's hardware.
Needless to say, this time around I chose to save my money and purchase the Henri Bendel bag. This will be my first ever Henri Bendel bag so I look forward to its arrival. Now the choice is yours: Which bag would you have picked? Would you have saved or splurged on these red crossbodies?
