What I Purchased at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2017

Once every year, Nordstrom (a department store) puts on this huge sale. A lot of the things for the sale are for the upcoming fall season. Shoppers have the ability to purchase new things for fall, stuff for your home, and beauty items on sale. The sale usually runs from the middle of July to August. The first few days of the sale, only shoppers with a Nordstrom debit or credit card can purchase things with the anniversary price. After that short time period, they will open the sale to the general public.

I have a Nordstrom debit card, so I took advantage of purchasing something I've been curious about for a very long time. I later on purchased a few other goodies. As I am writing this, the sale is open to the general public and ends August 6, 2017. This year, I stuck to only purchasing beauty items. Below, I will show you what I purchased to inspire you in case you need reassurance of how cool this sale is for your wallet.

For several years, I always was curious about the Clarisonic Mia 2. However, the price tag always made me say, "maybe later." Due to the Anniversary Sale, later is today. I was able to purchase this for $113! I would need to use it more to give a proper review, but so far I like using it. The Mia 2 came with a Radiance brush head which is nice and soft. Even though I used just a little of the cleansing gel, my face was full of soapsuds. There is a timer that shuts the Mia 2 off to prevent you from over using it. One of my favorite things about the Clarisonic is that their brushes come with covers. This will protect the bristles from getting bent during storage or travel. For years, I've used the Olay Pro X spin brush and every time I would travel I would have to worry about the bristles bending in my luggage.

With the Clarisonic, you are supposed to change the brush heads every three months. Individually, they are $25. During the Anniversary Sale, I was able to purchase this set of four for $75.

Finally, I saw this BeautyBlender set for $35. Usually, just one BeautyBlender alone would cost $20. This set gave you two BeautyBlenders, the cleansing soap, and a nice travel case to let them air dry. On the side of the travel case is a cute plastic BeautyBlender charm.

I had fun shopping this years sale. Did you shop the sale? Comment below and share some of the good deals you found.
