Coupon Keeper App

I love to save as much money as possible when I am shopping.  I am not an extreme couponer by any means.  However, I do love to clip coupons.  I have a coupon organizer that I keep my coupons in.  However, sometimes with the amount of coupons I have in the organizer I sometimes forget about certain ones I really want to use.  I used to manually keep a Google Drive spreadsheet of all the coupons I clipped.  That was extremely time consuming although helpful to have a list of all the coupons stored in my organizer.

Hopefully now all of that has changed.  I recently found out about an app called Coupon Keeper.  It can be found on Google Play or the iTunes app store.  Coupon Keeper is a tool to remind you of all the coupons you clipped.  It is not a replacement for the actual coupons themselves.  You still need to clip them out and give the physical copy to the store cashier.  However, I like this app because you can set it to remind you of the dates that your coupons will expire.  So, with this app you do not have to worry about forgetting that you had a $5 off coupon for your favorite products anymore.  All you have to do is scan (or take a picture of) the coupon with your cell phone/tablet and a list of detailed information will be in your database.

There is a huge catch to this app if you are a major couponer.  The free version only allows you to keep 100 coupons in the database, you can only use the search option 20 times, you cannot use the bulk import feature, and you cannot use the import/export feature.  The full version cost $12.99 but if you are serious about using coupons then I would highly recommend this app. Since I am not an extreme couponer I am content with the free version for now.
